benito-cereno: The Wachowski Starship’s masterpiece. True story: Speed Racer was the best genre film of 2008. Sorry, Iron Man. Sorry, Dark Knight. Yeah, pretty much. Iron Man was enjoyable on a different level, the entire Dark Knight trilogy is pretty useless, but Speed Racer was amazing and wholly underrated!

A strange sort of logic.
I’ve only ever been a fringe comic guy.  I liked the costumes or something, but never really cared much about the actual reading part.  Let’s not throw a wide net on that though, I’m an avid reader.  I love me some trashy (and not so trashy) sci-fi, hi-fi, fantasy, and so on… But I’ve never much cared about the stories comics were trying to tell, until very recently....

I’m always so impressed that with every announcement/release of a Metal Gear game they’ve managed to put together an experience I have absolutely no interest in. For as much as I adore the Japanese, they really as a culture have a very oddly sterile and fairy tale view of emotions.
